This video demonstrates how to quickly set up the AX58101 EtherCAT SubDevice motor control reference design development environment.

The AX58101 EtherCAT motor control reference design from ASIX integrates the AX58101 EtherCAT motor control development board, STMicroelectronics NUCLEO-F303RE MCU development board, and the X-NUCLEO IHM08M1 BLDC motor driver expansion board, enabling designers to efficiently evaluate the motor control capabilities of the AX58101. In addition, the development kit provides comprehensive product design materials and reference source code to help customers efficiently develop AX58101 EtherCAT slave devices. The kit includes product datasheets, schematics, PCB layout diagrams, as well as hardware/software design files and firmware source code.

The AX58101 motor control reference design is based on the NUCLEO-F303RE MCU development board and the STM32 MC SDK motor control package, combined with the complete STM32 development toolchain, including STM32 MC Workbench, CubeMX, CubeIDE, and CubeProgrammer. This allows engineers to quickly begin design and verification work. Furthermore, the AX58101 development kit also supports the ARM Keil MDK development environment, which can be used for compiling and debugging bootloader and firmware source code, offering greater flexibility in development.
