AX88179B internal buck pins and SPI flash

Hi, Team,

We previously designed around the AX88179 chip. Since it became obsolete, we decided to migrate to the AX88179B. We have a couple of questions we hope you can help us with:

  1. 1.Internal Buck
What should we do with the internal buck pins (pin 17: AVDD33_BUCK, pin 16: LX) if we are not using the internal buck (because we have an external source for the DVDD11 rail)? Should these pins be terminated in some specific way, or is leaving them unconnected (NC) sufficient?

  2. 2.External SPI Flash
Could you please confirm that the external SPI flash must support a 40 MHz SCLK for read operations and have a capacity greater than 1 Mbit? What would be the drawbacks of using a slower flash with less memory capacity?

Regards,
Yuri
