Mainline support 8250 / AX99100
Starting with kernel 6.4 the standard 8250_pci serial driver supports the AX99100. While this works well for basic usage, it's missing features like RS485 HD mode.
Currently, with modern kernels you are forced to first unbind from the 8250 driver (e.g. in initramfs) and later load the custom ASIX driver - which is not ideal.Are there any plans to contribute to mainline and integrate the missing features?
