ASIX IO-Link master/device software stack solutions are suitable for EtherCAT to IO-Link gateway, IO-Link sensors, IO-Link actuators and IO-Link hubs/valve islands for smart manufacturing and AIoT applications.
ASIX provides two series solutions, Interface ICs, UART Transceivers for designers to implement on I/O interface connectivity, PC & Peripherals and industrial computers applications.
IO-Link
ASIX offers a comprehensive solution with EtherCAT to IO-Link Master Gateway and IO-Link Device Software Protocol Stack. This enables customers to seamlessly integrate the latest IO-Link smart sensors and actuators into EtherCAT industrial Ethernet production environments, thereby achieving a more flexible and efficient smart factory production environment.

Interface ICs
This solution includes AX99100A PCIe bridge controllers and AX781x0 USB bridge controllers. For chip-to-chip or system-to-system connections, these controllers provide cost effective, standards compliant, and high-performance embedded system applications, such as remote access servers, storage network management, data acquisition systems, point-of-sale (POS) terminals, handheld devices, set-top box, digital TVs, industrial control and building automation equipment.

UART Transceivers
This solution includes four series: 5V RS-232 Transceiver, 3V RS-232 Transceiver, 5V RS-485 Transceiver and 3V RS-485 Transceiver and can be designed with ASIX PCIe/USB to serial bridge solutions to provide multiple serial ports via PCIe/PCI/USB interfaces.
The UART transceiver solution is suitable for any RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 serial communication applications such as PCIe/USB serial adapter cards, remote access servers, storage network management, data acquisition systems, point-of-sale (POS) terminals, handheld devices, set-top box, digital TVs, industrial control and building automation equipment.

ASIX IO-Link Device Software Stack
The ASIX IO-Link Device Software Stack is designed on the AXM-IOLS IO-Link device evaluation board, equipped with STMicroelectronics STM32F469AI MCU, and developed under the STM32CubeIDE development environment. This software stack package includes the ASIX IO-Link device software stack trial library, IO-Link sensor drivers, and a demo application, etc.
